Cryptosporidium found among patients infected with HIV

A group of authors reviewed the medical records of 194 HIV positive patients newly diagnosed with cryptosporidiosis and all 3,564 patients with newly diagnosed AIDS at San Fransico General Hospital between 1986-1992. Cryptosporidiosis (directly linked to cryptosporidium found in water, usually tap water, but also in bottled water) was found to be in dangerous levels in all of the HIV patients.

Cryptosporidium is not in all tap water, but more studies are finding dangerous levels all over the country. How safe is your tap water? Do you have a water filter and a portable water filter? Our immune systems are weakened by these different things we put into our bodies, especially people who have already weaked immune systems like children, the elderly, or HIV patients. Water should not be a source of the problem.

Using the filtered water bottles will help to prevent some of the chance to have the immunodeficiency virus.
