Reasons to use a Shower Filter

Monday, October 29th, 2007

Spending the money on a shower filter is something you might want to think about after knowing some facts of not using a shower filter.

  • Shower tap water contains at least or more chlorine than a swimming pool
  • Chlorine enters the body more through inhalation and the bodies pores than drinking tap water
  • Showering in tap water has harsh effects on the body like dry skin and hair, also irritating skin and getting rashes
  • More contaminates are released in the home in the shower than any other source
  • Chlorine is a suspected cause of breast cancer. Women suffering from breast cancer are all found to have 50-60 percent more chlorine in their breast tissue than healthy women
  • Chemicals in showering water vaporize at a much faster rate than the actual water.

Use water filters with all water, including your showers. You will be glad you did.

YOU Can Make a Difference in Global Warming

Thursday, October 18th, 2007

The reports are out about Global Warming. There are a number of different causes, but that doesn’t mean that each of us can’t individually positively effect the global warming situation.

The plastic waste created from bottled water is a huge contributor to global warming. You can make a dramatic difference just by eliminating the waste you personally create when you drink bottled water and throw the plastic bottle away.

Filtered Water Bottles are the solution for you! The benefits blow bottle water right off the shelf! For startes filtered water bottles are affordable! They cost pennies per gallon to filter the water right as you drink it from the bottle. Compared that to the amount you spend on a 12-16oz bottle of water. Secondly, filtered water bottles never require you to throw the bottle away. You can simply replace the filter when it goes out! Compare that to the amount of bottles you might consume in a day or a week. The easiest benefit is the convenience of a filtered water bottle which allows you to fill the bottle up from any water source without regard to the taste, smell, or amount of chlorine.

ISN’T THIS INCREDIBLE!!! YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE INDIVIDUALLY!!! PUT A STOP TO BOTTLED WATER WITH YOUR VERY OWN FILTERED WATER BOTTLE!!!!

Water in Other Countries

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

After reading this you’ll think twice before drinking water when in another country.   Did you know?

  • Every 8 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease
  • 50% of people in developing countries suffer from one or more water related disease
  • 80% of these diseases in the developing countries are caused by contaminated water
  • 50% of people on Earth lack adequate sanitation
  • 20% of freshwater fish species have been pushed to the edge of extinction by contaminated water.

So next time before you go on that trip just reading these facts I would make sure to bring my own water.  Bring a filtered water bottle, just to be on the safe side I wouldn’t want to be in those statistics.

Eliminating Bottled Water Can REALLY Save You Money!

Sunday, October 7th, 2007

A year ago, if someone were to ask me how much I spent a week on bottled water it would have been between $50-60. That doesn’t sound like a lot but when you multiply that by 52 weeks a year your looking at between $2600-3120 a year. That is a lot of money!

Now I am able to save that $3000 thanks to the filtered water bottle I use daily! I can’t tell you how convenient it is to fill up the bottle from any water source and not worry about how the water tastes or smells. It so affordable!! The filters cost less than 7 dollars, and I get about 3 months of usage out of a single filter. Water Filters really are a perfect way to get clean drinking water at an affordable price.

I love my water filter bottle, and I am sure you will too! So quit burning your money!
